All members of the Fire Department shall meet the following residency requirements.
(A) The Fire Chief shall be a resident of the village or prove residency of the village within one year after appointment.
(B) All firefighting personnel shall reside within a 15 mile radius of Village of Romeoville Fire Station No. 1.
(C) There shall be no residency requirements to make application for appointment to the Village Fire Department. For appointment to the Village Fire Department an individual must comply with the residency requirements of division (B).
