The provisions of this chapter shall be supplemented by the provisions of Chapters 55 and 150, as and when the same may be applicable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of any conflict between the provisions of this chapter or the Act and the provisions of Chapters 55 and 150, the provisions of this chapter or the Act shall control over any contrary provision of Chapters 55 and 150.
