§ 150.21 CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT PERMITS.
   In addition to any other fines, fees or penalties provided for by applicable provisions of this Code, when any work for which a permit is required under this Code has begun or is completed without the required permit having been obtained, the amount of the fee for the issuance of the required permit under such circumstances shall be equal to the amount of the otherwise applicable fee in cases not involving work without a permit or any other violation of this Code, plus an additional amount calculated as follows: a) For permits having an otherwise applicable fee up to and including $1,500, the additional amount added shall be equal to the amount of the otherwise applicable permit fee; b) For permits having an otherwise applicable fee in excess of $1,500, the additional amount added shall be equal to $1,500, plus 25% of the amount of the otherwise applicable permit fee.
