Notwithstanding any contrary provision of this chapter, all licensees under this chapter, during such time as their licenses shall remain in good standing, shall be permitted to engage in the retail sale of alcoholic beverages within the village in the manner and to the extent permitted by the provisions of the Liquor Control Act of 1934, ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, § 6-28.5, as the same may be amended from time to time.
