§ 31.11 QUALIFICATIONS AND REMOVAL.
   The Village Manager shall be chosen on the basis of his executive and administrative qualifications with particular reference to his actual experience in or his knowledge of accepted practices in respect to the duties of his office. The Village Manager need not be an actual resident of the Village of Romeoville or the State of Illinois provided that he shall become a resident of the village within one year after the date of his appointment unless the President and Board of Trustees waive the residency requirement by contract, or otherwise in writing. The Village Manager may be removed by the President and Board of Trustees by a majority vote of the entire Board at any time.
