§ 35.10 BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE POLICE PENSION FUND.
   Pursuant to the provisions of ILCS Ch. 40, Act 5, § 3-128 and §§ 37.01 through 37.03, there has heretofore been established the Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund of the Village of Romeoville. In accordance with ILCS Ch. 40, Act 5, § 3-128, two of the trustees of such board shall be appointed by the Village President, and three of the trustees shall be elected from among the active participants and beneficiaries of the Police Pension Fund as more fully set forth therein. One of the trustees appointed by the Village President shall serve a term of one year commencing on the second Tuesday in May, 2013 and until a successor is appointed and qualified, and the other trustee appointed by the Village President shall serve a term of two years commencing on the second Tuesday in May, 2013 and until a successor is appointed and qualified; thereafter, successor trustees appointed by the Village President shall serve terms of two years and until their successors are appointed and qualified. Trustees appointed by the Village President and in office as of the adoption of this section shall continue their terms in office until such time as their successors shall have been appointed and qualified pursuant to this section. The election and terms of office of all other trustees shall be in accordance with the provisions of ILCS Ch. 40, Act 5, § 3-128.
