The Fire Chief or Fire Marshal shall keep, in the office of the Fire Prevention Bureau, a record of all fires and of all the facts concerning them, including statistics as to the extent of the fires and the damage caused. The record shall be made from the reports made by the investigators under the provisions of this chapter. All records shall be made public.
