The 2021 Editions of the International Building Code, International Fire Code, Existing Building Code and all appendixes, annual supplements thereto, and all referenced standards and codes therein and NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, 2021 Edition, unless deleted, modified or amended by this chapter or other ordinances adopted by the village, is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing minimum standards, rules and regulations required for life safety and fire protection in buildings or structures within the jurisdiction of the village, and the provisions thereof shall apply with the same force and effect as if fully set forth in this chapter. Copies of all said International Codes, and all annual supplements thereto and all referenced standards and codes therein shall be kept on file with the Fire Prevention Bureau, Village Clerk and Building Inspector and available for public inspection.
