(A) The officers of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall consist of a Chair and a Vice-Chair.
(B) The Chair shall have the following powers and duties:
(1) The Chair shall preside at all meetings of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
(2) The Chair shall have general charge of the business of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
(3) The Chair shall vote on all matters which are voted upon by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
(4) The Chair shall, when authorized by the Zoning Board of Appeals and Ordinances of the Village of Romeoville, execute in its name all contracts and other obligations.
(5) The Chair shall appoint all members to ad hoc committees as defined in § 35.171.
(6) The Chair shall have general supervision of the conduct of the affairs of the Zoning Board of Appeals and of employees thereof.
(7) The Chair shall perform other such duties as are usually exercised by the Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals or the president or chief of a corporation.
(C) The Vice-Chair shall have the following powers and duties:
(1) The Vice-Chair shall perform the duties of the Chair during the absence or disability of the Chair.
(2) The Vice-Chair shall have such other powers and duties as the Chair shall from time to time delegate.
(3) The Vice-Chair shall vote on all matters which are voted upon by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
