(A) The by-laws within this subchapter may be amended by a majority vote of the members present and voting at the meeting immediately following the meeting (next month) at which the amendment was formally proposed. All Board members shall be notified by mail of the proposed amendments at least ten days prior to the meeting at which the final vote of the amendment shall be called.
(B) A recommendation upon the amendment in a report format shall be forwarded to the Village President and the Village Board of Trustees within 30 days for final adoption under a resolution.
