(A) There is hereby created and established an advisory commission of the Village of Romeoville to be known as the Keep Romeoville Beautiful Commission.
(B) The Keep Romeoville Beautiful Commission shall maintain affiliation with the Keep America Beautiful, Inc. national organization, and support its efforts.
(C) The Keep Romeoville Beautiful Commission shall further be charged with the responsibility to investigate, formulate, plan and recommend measures and programs relating to the promotion of the Village of Romeoville as a clean, green and beautiful place to live, including measures and programs designed to educate and encourage the public to prevent litter, reduce waste, increase recycling and protect the natural environment within the Village of Romeovilie.
(D) The Village President may from time to time appoint a Village Trustee to serve as a liaison between the Keep Romeoville Beautiful Commission and the Village Board of Trustees, and to advise the Village Board of Trustees from time to time as necessary or advisable as to the proceedings and activities of the Keep Romeoville Beautiful Commission.
