(A) The Chair of the Commission shall be appointed by the Village President in accordance with the provisions of this code.
(B) The Vice-Chair of the Commission shall be elected by the Commission at the first regular meeting in October of each year and shall serve for one year or until a successor is elected and qualified.
(C) Any vacancy in the office of the Vice-Chair shall be filled by vote of the Commission at a regular meeting.
(D) The Chair shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the Commission, a Recording Secretary who need not be a member of the Commission and who shall not be considered an officer of the Commission.
(E) In the event that the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Commission shall be absent or unable for any reason to attend to the duties of the Chair, the most senior member of the Commission shall serve as Chair pro tempore and attend to all the duties of such office until the Chair shall be able to attend to such duties.
