§ 35.03 SECRETARY.

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners may employ a secretary, or may designate one of its own members to act as secretary and who shall hold office until a successor is appointed by the Board. The secretary shall be paid a reasonable compensation for his or her services to be fixed by the corporate authorities.
