(A) Except as otherwise provided in the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, it is unlawful for any person knowingly to manufacture, deliver, or possess with intent to deliver or manufacture, cannabis. Any person who violates this section with respect to up to 10 grams of any substance containing cannabis is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(B) Persons who violate this section with respect to more than 10 grams of any substance containing cannabis are guilty of a felony and shall be prosecuted under appropriate state law.
