After the June 1, 2005, no deed conveying real property within the corporation limits of the village shall be entitled to recordation by the Recorder of Deeds for Will County unless such deed shall bear either a Village of Romeoville Real Estate Transfer Tax stamp in the amount required by this subchapter, or a duly certified statement of exemption.
