§ 91.18 OPENING/CLOSING OF GRAVES; NOTICE.
All graves will be opened and closed by employees of the Commission, for which a reasonable charge shall be made. When instructions regarding the locations of a grave on a lot cannot be opened where specified, the Superintendent may, at his or her discretion, open it in such location on the lot as he or she deems best and proper in order not to delay the funeral. Before leaving the cemetery the undertaker shall deliver to the Superintendent or his or her agent the regular burial permit along with the grave-opening fee. The right is reserved by the Cemetery Commission to require at least 24 hours’ notice prior to any interment and to at least seven days’ notice prior to any disinterment or removal.
