§ 72.03 TEMPORARY STOPPING TO LOAD OR UNLOAD; LOADING ZONES.
   (A)   Notwithstanding any signs to the contrary, a person may stop or park a vehicle, not to exceed five minutes, for the purpose of loading or unloading materials, merchandise or passengers at the entrances to churches, schools, hotels, theaters, bus stations, public meeting places, the county courthouse or Town Hall.
   (B)   In addition, the Town Council may establish loading zones of such kind and character and at such places as it deems necessary for the protection of the general public, and the same shall be marked off and indicated by painted lines and the words “loading zone”.
   (C)   When a loading zone is so established and marked, no person may park or stop in such loading zone, except for the legitimate purpose of loading or unloading passengers or cargo, and then only for such period of time as is reasonably necessary to do so expeditiously, subject to any more specific time limits as may be indicated by a sign.
