§ 33.02 DEDUCTION OF MONEY, MEDICAL COSTS; COUNTY INMATES.
   (A)   The deduction from an inmate’s cash accounts should be limited to:
      (1)   Ten dollars per each initial sick call appointment initiated by an inmate for each separate medical complaint;
      (2)   Twenty dollars for each appointment with a medical professional outside of the County Jail; and
      (3)   Fifty cents per dose of over-the-counter medication dispensed at the County Jail.

   (B)   (1)   Pursuant to 730 ILCS 125/17 that if an inmate has been determined to be eligible for medical assistance under the Public Aid Code, being 305 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., the cost of such medical services, to the extent that they exceed $500, shall be reimbursed by the Department of Public Aid.
      (2)   Reimbursement by the county for the cost of physician or hospital services provided to inmates in the custody of County Sheriff shall be at the State Department of Public Aid’s rates for medical assistance patients.
