The terms of office of all persons appointed to the Emergency Telephone System Board of the county shall be two years. The term of office of original appointees shall commence on April 1, 1988 and end at midnight, March 31, 1990. Successor appointees shall be appointed for terms of similar duration. There shall be no limit in the number of terms a members may serve.
