§ 30.04 ETHICS ADVISOR.
   (A)   The County Board Chairperson, with the advice and consent of the County Board, shall designate an Ethics Advisor for the county and Forest Preserve District of the county. The duties of the Ethics Advisor may be delegated to an officer or employee of the county unless the position has been created as an office by the county.
   (B)   The Ethics Advisor shall provide guidance to the officers and employees of the county concerning the interpretation of and compliance with the provisions of this subchapter and state ethics laws. The Ethics Advisor shall perform such other duties as may be delegated by the County Board.
