§ 52.20 AUTHORITY.

This subchapter is adopted under the authority and in furtherance of 55 ILCS 5/5-1118 (2023), 55 ILCS 5/5-1052 (2023), and 55 ILCS 5/5-1113 (2023). The County Board intends that all provisions of this subchapter be interpreted to carry out its intent of promoting the health, safety, and welfare of the people of the county by allowing the proper county officials to remove accumulated garbage and/or debris from properties within the jurisdiction of the county when the owner refuses to do so.
