(A) The Health Authority shall refuse to grant a permit for the construction of a private sewage disposal system where a public sanitary sewer is available for connection.
(B) A public sewer shall be deemed available for connection when the subject property is located within a reasonable distance from the public sewer and connection is permitted by the controlling authority.
(C) A reasonable distance shall be considered 200 feet from a single-family residential property or a commercial property discharging less than 1,500 gallons of domestic sewage per day, and 1,000 feet from a commercial property discharging 1,500 or more gallons of domestic sewage per day or a multi-family dwelling.
