(A) Absence without permission. No police officer shall absent himself or herself from duty without the permission of the City Manager or Chief of Police. Anyone so absenting himself or herself shall be liable to such penalty as the City Manager may designate.
(B) Cars not to be driven out of the city. No member of the police force shall be permitted to take any car owned by the city outside of the city limits except upon emergency arising from pursuit of criminals or with special permission of the City Manager.
