A violation of this chapter shall be a Class 3 misdemeanor, punishable by a fine up to $500 per violation or imprisonment, as provided for a Class 3 misdemeanor in the state statutes or both. A violation of this chapter shall also subject the violator to a civil penalty of $500 per separate violation. Each separate act in violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate violation. Each day that such separate violation shall constitute or be carried on shall constitute an additional separate violation.
