The Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall survey each assembly, business, educational, industrial, healthcare, mercantile, storage, and residential occupancy except dwelling units of multi-family buildings and dwellings and shall specify such suitable fire extinguishing equipment, systems, or appliances and fire-detecting devices as shall be necessary to provide reasonable safety to persons and property.
