(A) No person shall construct a driveway for vehicles or animals across any sidewalk in the village without having first obtained a permit therefor.
(B)
Applications for such permits shall be made to the Village Code Officer, shall be accompanied by the fee required, and approved by the Public Works Superintendent.
(C) No permit for construction of a driveway for commercial use, or for the habitual use of other than the owner or occupant of the premises served shall be issued except upon the order of the Public Works Superintendent or his or her designee.
