Supervision of such work done in, or under the public streets, avenues, alleys, roadways and other public places of the village is hereby vested in the Superintendent who, upon satisfactory completion of the work shall endorse his or her charges against such applicant for work done or incurred thereon by or on behalf of the village. Costs and charges so endorsed shall be paid by the applicant with the application. Persons failing to promptly pay or adjust such charges and costs may be debarred from receiving further permits pending payment or collection of the amounts due the village. The Superintendent may request that the Village Engineer review and/or inspect the street opening to ensure compliance with the village regulations.
