(A) The date of inauguration of the municipal officers of the village, other than those elected at a special election, shall be the first regular or special meeting of the village in the month of May, following the election of the municipal officers.
(B) For those municipal officers elected at any special election, such officers shall be inaugurated at the first regular or special meeting following the proclamation of results at such special election.
