(A) Manholes shall be installed at all changes in grade and/or direction and at distances not greater than 400 feet apart.
(B) All manhole covers shall be water-tight and self-sealing, incorporating an O-ring gasket.
(C) All covers shall have concealed pick holes.
(D) Where manhole covers may be subjected to frequent and extreme submergence, additional water-tightness shall be ensured by using bolt down covers.
(E) All manholes shall incorporate the use of “A Cok” gaskets.
