§ 53.06 CONTAMINATIONS COST AND THE CONSUMER.
   The consumer responsible for backsiphoned material or contamination through backflow, if contamination of the potable water supply system occurs through an illegal cross-connection or an improperly installed, maintained or repaired device, or a device which has been bypassed, shall bear the cost of clean-up, disinfecting, boil order notice, repairs, labor and overtime, all testing, to remedy the system safe (to the public as dictated by the water systems operator in responsible charge (ORC)) of the potable water supply system.
