It is the intent of this chapter to allow for the use of golf carts on the local streets within the city. To ensure public safety and welfare, the operation of golf carts must comply with certain vehicle regulations. The operation of a golf cart on city streets is strictly prohibited unless the golf cart is operated and equipped in full compliance with this chapter.
