For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DRIVER’S LICENSE. A valid current license to operate a motor vehicle issued by the State of Indiana or any other state.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Liability coverage applicable to the golf cart and compliant with all Indiana laws applicable to a motor vehicle operated on the public highway of the State of Indiana.
GOLF CART. Shall have the definition provided by I.C. 9-13-2-69.7. As it now exists, the term means: a four wheeled motor vehicle originally and specifically designed and intended to transport one or more individuals and golf clubs for the purpose of playing the game of golf on a golf course.
OPERATOR. A person(s) holding a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Indiana or another state.
