§ 35.41 MATERIALITY THRESHOLD.
   (A)   Definition. For purposes of this subchapter, MATERIAL shall mean a significant or consequential amount, as it pertains to the city, taking into account the city’s size, demographics, calculations of monthly receivables, as well as, the form or method of payment.
   (B)   More than $300 in cash. It will be the policy of the Clerk-Treasurer to report to the State Board of Accounts any erroneous or irregular variances, losses, shortages, or thefts of cash in excess of $300, except for inadvertent clerical errors that are identified timely and promptly corrected with no loss to the city, and except for losses from genuine accidents.
   (C)   More than $1,500 in non-cash items. It will be the policy of the Clerk-Treasurer to report to the State Board of Accounts any erroneous, or irregular variances, losses, shortages, or thefts of non- cash items in excess of $1,500, estimated market value, except for inadvertent clerical errors that are identified timely and promptly corrected with no loss to the city, and except for losses from genuine accidents.
