(A) (1) Multiple units served by one water and/or sewer connection may elect collection or termination of collection hereunder in writing as of the end of any water utility billing cycle.
(2) The collection/termination shall be for each then occupied unit served by that connection, at a rate of 90% of the then current monthly charge per active collection unit.
(B) It shall be that water/sewer customer’s obligation to notify the Clerk-Treasurer in writing within three business days of occupancy of a greater number of units than then being charged for collection, and that greater number of units shall thereafter be charged as active collection units as above set out. Upon occupancy of a less number of units than then being charged, that customer may notify the Clerk-Treasurer in writing and thereafter only the lesser number of units shall be so charged.
(C) Each notice of the activation/deactivation of units shall result in a $5 processing fee being assessed to that customer.
