(A) Payment for utility services shall be due when bills are issued and any amount not paid on or before the sixth day of the calendar month following billing shall be assessed a penalty as follows:
(1) Water. Water bills shall be assessed a penalty of 10% of the first $3, and 3% of the balance;
(2) Wastewater. Wastewater bills shall be assessed 10% of the delinquent bill; and
(3) Sanitation. Sanitation bills shall be assessed 10% of the delinquent bill.
(B) Those locations having amounts past due on or before the sixth day of the second calendar month following the initial billing may, thereafter, have service discontinued without further notice. All then unpaid bills and a re-connection fee of $18.75 must be paid in full before services will be reinstated.
