§ 32.04 TOWN MARSHAL DEPUTY RESERVE FORCE.
   (A)   There is hereby created a Town Marshal Deputy Reserve Force, which shall consist of no more than four deputy reserve officers at any time.
   (B)   Deputy reserve officers shall be appointed by the same authority that appoints regular members of the Department.
   (C)   Deputy reserve officers may not be members of the regular Police Department, but shall have the same police powers as regular members, except as limited by rules of the Department.
   (D)   To the extent that sums for benefits are appropriated, deputy reserve officers may:
      (1)   Receive a uniform allowance;
      (2)   Receive compensation for the time lost from other employment because of court appearances; and
      (3)   Be insured for life, accident and sickness coverage.
   (E)   Deputy reserve officers are not eligible to participate in any pension program provided for regular members of the Department.
   (F)   A deputy reserve officer may not be appointed until he or she has completed the training and probationary period specified by rules of the Department.
   (G)   Deputy reserve officers shall meet all minimum training requirements provided by state law.
