(A) A person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be served, via certified mail, return receipt requested, a notice requesting immediate compliance.
(B) That notice shall contain:
(1) The date, name and address of the owner;
(2) A description of the animal in violation of this chapter;
(3) The code sections violated, the nature of the violation and location of the violation;
(4) The name of the person issuing the notice;
(5) The address and telephone number of the Animal Control Officer and Clerk- Treasurer;
(6) The applicable monetary penalties for future violations; and
(7) A conspicuous notification that the owner is responsible for payment for redemption fees, care, feeding and storage of the animal in the animal shelter.
(C) A copy of the notice of violation shall also be issued via first class mail.
