§ 91.12 IMPOUNDING ANIMALS.
   (A)   General. The Animal Warden may impound any animal:
      (1)   Found to be at-large;
      (2)   Found in violation of this chapter;
      (3)   Which in the discretion of the Animal Warden, is believed to constitute a threat to the public’s safety; or
      (4)   Which in the discretion of the Animal Warden, impoundment would be in the animal’s best interest.
   (B)   Notice of impounding. The Animal Warden shall promptly send written notice, by first class mail, of the impounding of any animal to the owner.
   (C)   Registry. A registry of impounded animals shall be kept providing a general description of each animal. A copy of that registry shall be available at the designated clearinghouse site, and a physical copy shall be open to inspection at reasonable times within the Town Hall.
