§ 30.01 ELECTIONS.
   (A)   The town’s legislative body districts are abolished and the town’s elective offices shall be five Council member positions and a Clerk- Treasurer, all of which shall be filled by at large election.
   (B)   (1)   Special three-year terms. For the Town Council election held in 1991, two Council members shall be elected for a term of three calendar years each, commencing on 1-1-1992.
      (2)   Four-year terms. For the Town Council election held in 1991, three Council members shall be elected for a term of four calendar years each, commending on 1-1-1992.
      (3)   Three-, four-year terms. The two Town Council members receiving the fewest votes of the five Council members elected in 1991 shall be the Council members to serve the foregoing three-year terms.
      (4)   Successor Council members. The successors of all Town Council members so elected in 1991 shall be elected in November election day election in the year of expiration of their respective terms, for successor terms of four- years, and likewise every four years thereafter.
      (5)   Existing election authority. All other election qualifications, standards and procedures heretofore applying to selection to membership on the Town Council and not in conflict with the foregoing shall remain in full force and effect.
