11-7-2: PLAT OFFICER:
   (A)   The plat officer shall be the village's zoning officer as properly appointed by the village president in accordance with the zoning code. The plat officer may be provided with assistance by other persons as the village board may direct.
   (B)   The plat officer shall administer and enforce this title and shall carry out and perform duties as follows:
      1.   Receive and file for public record all applications and pertinent data for preliminary and final plats, including the preliminary and final plats, and providing such information and documentation to the plan commission;
      2.   Schedule any public hearings for the plan commission for consideration of applications or petitions for amendments or modifications to this title;
      3.   Conduct inspections to determine compliance with this title;
      4.   Investigate alleged violations of this title;
      5.   Inform subdividers and other persons or entities in violation of this title of the provisions and requirements of this title with which they are in noncompliance and the available remedies;
      6.   Notify the chairperson of the village's ordinance committee regarding subdividers and other persons or entities in violation of this title regarding the initiation of proceedings against such subdividers and other persons or entities as permitted under this title and the Illinois municipal code; and
      7.   Maintain permanent and current records of this title, including preliminary and final plats, maintaining all such records as public records in cooperation with the village clerk. (Ord. 2005-09, 12-19-2005)
