Land which may be annexed to the village shall be classified in accordance with the following schedule until such time as the village board changes the classification in accordance with the provisions of their ordinance.
County Zoning Classification Roanoke Classification
Residential AS R-1
Residential CS R-2 and R-3
Commercial B-2
Industrial I-1
Agriculture R-1
Conservation A R-1
Conservation B R-1
Should the county revise its zoning classifications, the classification equivalent or most similar to the previous zoning classification shall apply. If land is not classified under one of the county classifications listed above or if no equivalent or similar classification exists, the land shall be annexed as an R-1 district.
