The designated snowmobile route will be Route 116, down Court Street to Church Street to Davidson Street to Green Street to Randolph Street to Sixth Street to Carol Street and out of the Village. An additional route will be South Main Street to Mill Street to State Street to Court Street and North Main Street out of the Village.
These routes are not to be abused or used in any manner for racing of vehicles around, through or up and down through the Village in any manner or fashion.
Anyone who does not live on one of these designated routes is permitted access to these routes in the most direct manner possible, but only via the public roadway system that is not across private property. Additionally, such individuals may not in any way deviate from this most direct route since to do so would be considered a violation of this section.
Anyone using a snowmobile vehicle in the Village on any road or property, private or public, other than as specified in this section, is in violation of the ordinances of the Village and such action will be a misdemeanor and citable as such. Such violation shall subject the offending party to a fine of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). (Ord. 2001-02, 1-15-2001)
