7-1-5: CARE OF FRESH MEAT:
Any person hauling meat or in any way carrying the same from one point to another within the village shall keep the same entirely covered with a material, the texture of which shall be sufficiently close to prevent any and all flies and other insects from reaching or resting upon the same and keep and prevent any and all dust and dirt from coming in contact with such meat while being so carried or hauled. It is further ordained that such said material covering meat as herein provided shall at all times be kept clean and free from any rend or tears and subject to the inspection of the board of health at any reasonable hour.
