6-1-18: INJURING PROPERTY:
   (A)   Injure Electric Light Property: It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully or intentionally injure, remove, deface or in any way damage any electric lamp, wire, pole or any article or thing belonging thereto, or any other street lamps.
      The parents or guardian of any minor offender against the provisions of this subsection shall be held liable for all damages sustained by reason of such offending and costs of prosecution.
      All fines collected under the provisions of this subsection, after paying for the property damaged or destroyed in violation of the same, shall be turned into the Village Treasury. (R.O. 1908, Ord. 16)
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person in the Village to be guilty of defacing any building or buildings, fence, sign, tree, box, lamppost or other property belonging to the Municipal corporation or any private corporation or person, by cutting, breaking, daubing with paint or other substance, or by hitching horses or other animals to, or to in any other manner deface, tear down, injure or destroy the same.
