6-1-4: ASSAULT OR BATTERY:

It shall be unlawful for any person to commit an assault and battery upon another, or assault, strike or fight or challenge to fight another, or to be guilty of any language, act or conduct calculated to provoke a breach of the peace. (R.O. 1908, Ord. 11)
