Any person convicted of a violation of any section of this code, including the doing of any act which is prohibited or the failure to do any required act as set forth under this code, shall be fined in a sum not less than three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) and not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each violation, excepting any violation of a section of this code wherein the fine is specifically set forth. A separate offense shall be deemed committed for each day any violation of any provision of this code or any ordinance shall continue. Additionally, any such person convicted of a violation of any section of this code may, in addition to any fine imposed for the violation, be required to perform a reasonable number of hours of public service which may include picking up litter in public parks or along public highways or maintaining any public facility.
