No license shall be issued for a longer period than one year, nor shall any license, in any case, extend beyond the municipal year in which it shall be granted; and such license shall date from the day of issuing thereof. No person shall be deemed to be licensed until the license money has been fully paid, a receipt given therefor, and the license issued. (R.O. 1908, Ord. 4)
