§ 71.06 USE OF TRUCK LANES BY VEHICLES OVER SEVEN TONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or cause to be operated a vehicle of any kind having a gross weight in excess of seven tons upon, over or across any street or alley in the city unless such street or alley is designated as a “truck lane.”
   (B)   In the event it is impossible for a vehicle having a gross weight in excess of seven tons to reach its destination within the city by a “truck lane,” the operator of such vehicle shall obtain permission from the Chief of Police of the city before operating such vehicle upon, over or across any street or alley not designated as a “truck lane.”
