Any structure involved in a fire that causes substantial damage to the structure shall be repaired in accordance with the requirements of the State Building Code or demolished and removed within 90 days. Repair or demolition of structures with verified pending insurance claims shall not exceed a period of 135 days, unless an extension is approved by City Council.
