§ 90.05  REMOVAL OF OTHER VEHICLES; RELEASE.
   (A)   Any officer or deputy, upon discovering a vehicle parked or left standing so as to constitute a public nuisance pursuant to the provisions of § 90.03(A) and (C) of this chapter, may cause the vehicle to be impounded. Impounded vehicles shall be released either upon payment by the owner, operator or authorized representative of same of the fees charged for impoundment and storage, or upon order of the law enforcement agency which impounded the vehicle, or upon order of any court having jurisdiction over the vehicle.
   (B)   All vehicles impounded by reason of being wrecked or stolen and all vehicles otherwise coming into the custody or control of the town’s Police Department, and those impounded for parking violations, may be impounded in lots maintained for such purposes by wreckers or in a lot chosen by the Department.
